It is obtained from ripe almonds through purely mechanical pressing of selected seeds. Pale yellow in color, with a slight aroma, it is very multicomponent in its composition: it contains vitamins (A, B1, B2, B6, E), provitamins, polyunsaturated fatty acids (vitamin F), proteins, minerals (zinc, iron, sodium, magnesium), glucose, emulsin enzyme, lecithin, vegetable stearins, tannins. Sweet almond oil is also rich in essential fatty acids (oleic), which are involved in regulating skin penetration. Thanks to its high oleic acid content (82%), it is easily absorbed and distributed over the skin.
Sweet almond oil regulates the protein balance of skin cells, helping it become more even, transparent and elastic. Restores water-lipid balance, regenerates, relieves irritation. The oil has a rejuvenating effect, stimulating the restoration and renewal of epidermal cells, effectively nourishes, softens and moisturizes the skin, accelerating the healing process of small cracks and cuts, and protects it from the adverse effects of the environment.
The rich composition of the oil, its light texture and high penetrating ability make it possible to use sweet almond oil not only in combination with essential oils, but also as an independent product for the care of skin of all types and conditions, especially sensitive, delicate, prone to irritation. It helps relieve itching and redness, eliminates flaking, burning, rashes and dryness. Almond oil makes excellent nourishing masks for the care of inelastic and lifeless skin. It tightens and nourishes the skin, activates tissue renewal mechanisms, has a restorative and wound-healing effect, is well absorbed and cleanses pores. Gives the skin a healthy, beautiful color. In addition, it has a beneficial effect on the sebaceous glands of the scalp (normalizing their work) and hair follicles (accelerating hair growth).
Used in cosmetic preparations, it has a good softening and nourishing effect. Almond oil is included in nourishing and moisturizing body milk, night face creams, neck and d?collet? products, and hand creams. It has anti-inflammatory, rejuvenating, nourishing and moisturizing effects, and is used as an anti-burn, analgesic and emollient.
Application:
Important! For skin care, only sweet almond oil is used. There are also bitter almonds in nature, but due to the content of toxic substances, they are considered poisonous. Almond oil is distinguished by the fact that, due to its odorlessness, delicate texture and ability to dissolve essential oils, it is an ideal base for preparing aromatic and cosmetic mixtures. In addition, almond oil itself is an excellent cosmetic product; it is quickly absorbed and does not contaminate pores, and has excellent anti-cellulite properties.
