Monoi oil unflavored (butter)
INCI: Cocos nucifera Oil, Gardenia tahitensis Flower Extract Production method: Coconut oil extraction. Appearance: White to cream semi-solid mass, turns yellow when melted with gardenia aroma. Melting point: 24 °C Peroxide value: <0.5. Acid number: 0.06%.
Monoi oil is a butter (solid mass) with a characteristic sweet floral aroma. But at temperatures above room temperature, it melts like the coconut oil it is made from.
Gardenia Taitensis - a flower known for its healing properties
-is a key ingredient in the preparation of monoi butter.
This beautiful star-shaped inflorescence, whose fragrance is reminiscent of gardenia and tuberose, with slight notes of apple blossom, is used to produce oil.
Monoi oil is obtained by extraction with coconut oil. The resulting soft viscous mass is purified and enriched with vitamin E. Monoi oil contains terpene alcohols and esters, including methyl salicylate, a natural anti-inflammatory agent.
Usage.
Monoi oil quickly penetrates the skin and is well absorbed. Suitable for all skin types, especially recommended for dry, chapped skin. It has a strong soothing, moisturizing and softening effect. Restores water balance, improves the appearance of the skin, gives radiance, smoothes it.
Monoi oil is added to sunscreen cosmetics, hair and scalp care products, nail care products, and lip balms. Monoi oil is widely used in aromatherapy.
