The special water-soluble silicone formula is designed for hair care products and is especially useful in water-based formulations.
Amodimethicone has a selective affinity for damaged areas of the hair, thereby smoothing its surface and forming a film around it, retaining moisture in it.
It works even in wash-off products, with a short delay in application time.
Can be used in
- shampoos
- balms, conditioners and rinses
- styling mousses, hair styling sprays
- healing serums for damaged hair, split ends
- nail plate and cuticle care products
Provides thermal protection when styling with a hot hair dryer or iron, adds shine and silkiness to hair, facilitates both wet and dry combing. Prevents colorant (pigment) from being washed out of colored hair.
Does not accumulate on the hair, is easily washed off with regular care products.
Combines well with protein hydrolysates and amino acids, cationic and anionic surfactants. Allows you to create transparent products that can be diluted by simply adding water or hydrosol.
