Polysorbate-80 (ERCASORB 2080) (Tween-80)
Polysorbate 80 (Polysorbate 80), TWIN 80 is an oily, viscous substance of a pleasant amber color, without a distinct odor. Tween 80 is a solvent (solubilizer) of essential oils, fragrances and vegetable fats in water-based cosmetics. Polysorbate is highly soluble in vegetable oils, water and alcohol. Insoluble in paraffin and mineral oils.
