A surfactant based on olive oil, due to its unique combination of very mild cleaning properties and excellent foaming, is most often used in the manufacture of shampoos, liquid soap, and shower foam. This is a universal product applicable for the care of all types of skin and hair, as it does not irritate them and softens the effect of other, more aggressive, surface-active substances.

Solubility: perfectly soluble in water at any concentration, but insoluble in oils.
Application:
- A surfactant based on olive oil is known primarily for its mild cleansing effect, so it is often used in care products - cleansers and detergents - for problematic, dry, hypersensitive skin;
- this component is often used in products for skin that needs age-related care, as it contains the entire complex of vitamins and beneficial microelements characteristic of olive oil;
- the introduction of this surfactant into children's cosmetics is also justified;
- Olive oil surfactant not only has excellent solubilizing properties, but also softens and deeply moisturizes the surface of the skin, protects its hydrolipid barrier;
- this surfactant is often used to increase the viscosity of the finished cosmetic product;
- it is often used to improve foam stability in shower gels and bubble baths, in liquid and bar soaps over a wide pH range (3-12);
- when making cosmetics at home, a surfactant based on olive oil is used not only as a primary surfactant, but also as a secondary surfactant;
- as part of shampoos and conditioners, this component reliably and carefully cleanses hair over its entire surface without irritating the scalp.
Precautions: In rare cases, an allergic reaction is possible, so before using cosmetics containing surfactants based on olive oil, they must be tested on a small area of ??skin. In case of contact with eyes, wash them immediately with plenty of clean, running water. If the feeling of discomfort and irritation does not disappear, consult an ophthalmologist.

- in detergents intended for dry, hypersensitive skin – 1.5-4%;
- in products for the care of delicate children's skin - 1.5-3%;
- in shampoos and conditioners for all hair types – 1.5-10%;
- in shower gels and bath foams – 2-4%;
- in liquid soap and intimate hygiene products – 1.5-4%;
- in tonics – 10-20%.
