This Shampoo Base is fully formulated, contains mild surfactants, is pre-thickened and simply requires the addition of fragrance or essential oils.
Product Feature:
- Formulated with mild surfactants approved by the Soil Association to produce creamy foam.
- Free of sulfates, SLS, SLES and parabens.
- Enriched with Aloe Vera.
- Naturally clear or clear pale -yellow color.
- No thickening required.
- Fully formulated base, requiring only the addition of organic fragrances or essential oils, with slow mixing.
- Suitable for different hair types through a selection of additives.

Decyl Glucoside 5 – 10%
Lauryl Betaine 1 – 5%
Xantham Gum 1 – 5%

Phenoxyethanol 0.5 – 1.0%

EXAMPLE RECIPE
Here we show you how to transform one of our liquid foundations into a natural hand wash using our shampoo base. Follow the instructions below to create a range of specially formulated shampoos using our innovative liquid foundations.
Shampoo base:
- Weigh the desired required weight.
-Add up to 1% fragrance/essential oil.
- Mix for 5 minutes until additives/ingredients are dispersed.
- Fill out the packaging.
Open - Simply open the package and weigh out the required amount of shampoo base
Add - Add essential oils or fragrances of your choice to your liquid base. We recommend adding no more than 2% to the shampoo base. jar (always perform full stability testing before selling/distributing).
An ideal starting point for creating a wide range of high quality liquid products. Simply combine fragrances and additives to create liquid hair products.
