Potassium paste is used to prepare liquid soap, shampoos, shower gels, and beldi. Based on potassium paste, you can make natural and safe cosmetics without preservatives, dyes and other synthetic additives.

Potassium paste is made similar to handmade soap. A mixture of specially selected vegetable oils is saponified with potassium hydroxide. Bar soap is made in a similar way, but the oils are saponified with sodium hydroxide. A mixture of vegetable oils, no matter what, cannot wash on its own. And this paste is actually called potash paste because the oils are saponified with potassium hydroxide. At the same time, potassium paste is one of the safest and mildest detergents.

Method of preparation: Pour potassium paste with water in the required proportion. Add care oils. Place in a water bath or over very low heat and stir thoroughly until completely dissolved. Remove from heat and cool, add essential oils and other additional ingredients (dried flower powder). After cooling, the paste usually takes on a thick consistency.

Dosage: For soap with a thick consistency - add 1 part of water to 1 part of potassium paste; for soap of a thinner consistency - to 1 part of potassium paste - 2-3 parts of water. Care oils can be added 1 - 7% (1-7 ml of oil per 100 ml of paste). Essential oils - 1% and mix thoroughly. Potassium paste composition: Extra virgin olive oil saponified with potassium hydroxide.
