Application
Macadamia is an excellent remedy for a therapeutic bath. Macadamia oil has a beneficial effect on the skin, especially during the winter months. To care for aging, dry skin, use macadamia oil as part of a massage mixture, in a mixture of oils for facial and body skin care.
The advantages of macadamia oil as a cosmetic ingredient also include its excellent compatibility with almost all emulsifiers used in cosmetics, solubilizers, oils, thickeners and pigments. It is also important that there are no known cases of any inflammatory or allergic reactions to macadamia oil, although its use in cosmetics has a solid history.
The oil is transparent and almost colorless, it can be successfully used in decorative cosmetics formulations.
Oil Macadamia oil is highly stable, second only to jojoba oil in this parameter. Successfully resists peroxidation during storage and as part of cosmetic formulations. After storage at low temperatures, it fully restores its clarity at room temperature.
Macadamia oil is an excellent substitute for animal mink oil.
