The glasses are made from special heat-resistant, chemical-resistant glass. According to its characteristics, SIMAX glass belongs to borosilicate glass class 3.3. The designation 3.3 indicates a low coefficient of linear expansion of 3.3 x 10-6, due to which the high temperature resistance of SIMAX laboratory glassware is manifested. Also, in terms of its characteristics, SIMAX glass corresponds to TS glass according to GOST, as well as the common definition of “pyrex glass”. SIMAX glasses are produced on high-tech automatic lines with a very high level of quality control. According to technical characteristics, SIMAX laboratory beakers comply with the requirements of GOST 25336-82 for SN beakers. The glasses have a calibration scale, which can only be used to approximately determine the volume (the designation approx. vol. is marked on the surface). Mandatory certification of laboratory beakers is not provided for by Ukrainian legislation.
