Appearance: White powder or flakes. Particle size no more than 15 microns.
Solubility: poorly soluble in water, easily in alcohol, also soluble in ethers, partially in fatty oils and slightly soluble in benzene.
Melting point: 105-110 degrees Celsius
Total acid content: 99.08%
