Laminaria hydrolyzate
Laminaria as a cosmetic ingredient has a very powerful rejuvenating effect. It gives the skin firmness, elasticity, and provides long-term hydration. Laminaria gives facial skin a brighter color and appearance.
Kelp (Macrocystis pyrifera), or kelp, is a common seaweed that is part of the brown algae (Phaeophyta). It is mined in almost all seas and oceans. Laminaria thallus are very strong and elastic. Even when dried, they do not break when bent. The thalli have a width of 4 to 15 cm and can reach a length of 120-160 cm. For storage for the purpose of subsequent processing, they are often dried without grinding: a maximum of useful vitamins and microelements are preserved in whole kelp thalli.
