INCI: Tilia Cordata Hydrosol
Appearance: transparent liquid with a delicate herbaceous odor. Part of the plant used: flowers with stipules.
Dosage: 10-100%
Storage: in a tightly closed container, in the refrigerator.
May contain farnesol, flavonoids (kaempferol, acacetin, afzelin, kaempferitrin, quercetin, herbacetin).
Cosmetic effects:
- suitable for the care of aging and mature skin, as well as thin, dry and sensitive skin;
- eliminates burning, itching and redness of the skin;
- strengthens hair roots, prevents hair loss;
- evens out and brightens the complexion;
- strengthens the vascular wall;
- anti-inflammatory effect, can be used for allergic dermatoses;
- calms the nervous system (sedative effect)
All floral hydrolates can be used in pure form, without diluting with water, and can also be used as a water base for leave-in cosmetics: tonics, lotions, creams, refreshing sprays for face and body.
Synergy: yarrow hydrolates (trees), witch hazel, chamomile, lavender, neroli.
