To make candles, it is convenient to buy a wick treated with wax. Thanks to this treatment, the surfaces of the cord and molten paraffin will easily connect when pouring. The metal holder will not allow the wick to jump out to the surface and will be firmly fixed in the finished product.
A thin wick is used in small-diameter candles, or in thick candles of several pieces.
Please note that if you choose a thin wick for a thick candle, the flame will “choke” from melted paraffin.
