Green PEG-free emulsifier natura tec ecomuls 2-in-1 combines the advantages of light textures created with the help of conventional direct oil-in-water emulsifiers, while being reverse in type - capable of deeply moisturizing, nourishing, protecting and restore skin.
This is achieved by the fact that its main components - glycerol esters and phytosterols of olive oil - tend to bind a significant amount of water. Thus, a highly concentrated “water-in-oil” emulsion is formed, where the aqueous phase in an amount of 60 to 85% is distributed in droplets in a thin lipid shell.
Another feature of natura tec ecomuls 2-in-1 is that it can be used both cold and hot. You can prepare cold cream without exposing the assets to temperature stress.
Any reverse cream is more resistant to possible damage by microorganisms than a direct emulsion, since the internal aqueous phase is protected by an oil layer; but with a cold process, it is worth sterilizing the water you will use for the cream in advance. In this case, it is better to introduce the preservative into the aqueous phase before emulsification.
Natural emulsifier natura tec ecomuls 2-in-1 is suitable for any skin type, including those with a tendency to excess sebum production, dry, sensitive and atopic, as well as children's and age. It is quickly absorbed, does not create excessive grease, and is easy to apply, so it is suitable for daytime formulas.
Applicable
- in formulations containing sunscreen filters and pigments;
- in cleansing formulas for removing makeup;
- winter creams for chapping;
- protective hand creams with water-repellent properties;
- intensely moisturizing emulsions;
- medical and voluntary health care cosmetics;
- masks for face and scalp.
Natura tec ecomuls 2-in-1 can be used as a co-emulsifier and as a main emulsifying base.
The final consistency with an aqueous phase of up to 75% turns out to be somewhat liquid, so it is better to pour creams based on the natura tec ecomuls 2-in-1 emulsifier either into a vacuum bottle or into a bottle with a dispenser. For a denser cream, the water phase should be 80-85%, while introducing the emulsifier in maximum dosages of 5-5.5%.
To successfully obtain an inverse emulsion, use the following techniques to stabilize it:
- It is worth adding a little salt to the water, optimally up to 0.8%; it can be regular sodium chloride, but it is better to use magnesium sulfate. In the composition of the oil phase it is worth selecting oils and emollients with medium or low polarity; You can use non-polar silicones, Vaseline, they fit well into the return lines. do not use a large number of batters with a high pour point; if the fatty phase had to be heated to melt the wax and emulsifier, if stored in the refrigerator, cool the mixture to room temperature; operate at medium speed; the emulsion can be obtained by manual mixing; upon completion of the process, you can increase the speed or use a homogenizer; and most importantly, pour water into the fatty phase drop by drop, in small portions, especially at the initial stage of emulsion formation; the emulsion should gradually thicken: the more water, the denser it becomes.
