A new generation emulsifier with a “green” image is a nonionic emulsifier based on alkyl polyglucosides and fatty alcohols, obtained from plant biomass. Used to create emulsions with “liquid crystals”.

An emulsion with “liquid crystals” is an emulsion in which microparticles of oil are placed in microdroplets of water, which, in turn, are placed in microdroplets of oil, and so on ad infinitum. The result is a "crystalline multi-layered gel or cream." And this structure is three times more effective compared to classic emulsions.

What is the reason for the effectiveness of crystalline multi-layer gel-cream?
The structure of the emulsion is similar to the structure of skin. The fact is that multilayer structures exist in many living cell membranes. In other words, our skin is also multi-layered. The similarity of the gel structure and the structure of our skin ensures the highest compatibility of cosmetics with the human body. Identical to the skin membrane, the emulsion ensures optimal biological absorption of active components.
The structure of the emulsion provides “long-lasting” hydration. When using conventional classical emulsifying technology, the moisturizing effect is usually short-lived. In the structure of a crystalline multilayer gel, 50% of the total amount of moisture is “packed” into layers. This means that the water does not evaporate instantly, and we get a long-lasting moisturizing effect. According to experts, the moisturizing duration of cosmetics created on the basis of liquid crystals is three times (!!!) longer compared to classical emulsifying technology.
The structure of the emulsion ensures a gradual, long-term release of active components. Thanks to the structure of multilayer layered crystals, any active substances “dissolved” in a cosmetic product will be released approximately a thousand times slower! This means that the nutrition of our skin will be long and gradual. And therefore effective.

Emulsifier MONTANOV L creates plastic emulsions with a soft, delicate texture; it is universal, stable, and compatible with anionic and cationic surfactants. Can be used with any type of oil phase, including vegetable oil. The emulsifier gives a soft texture to creams for oily and sensitive skin, combination and aging skin, and also prone to dryness.

Areas of application: all types of emulsions for skin care products, cleansing products (including 2-in-1), sunscreens, decorative cosmetics, fluid creams, body milk.

MONTANOV L emulsifies all types of oil phase (vegetable oils, mineral oil, silicones, emollient esters). It is capable of binding up to 60% of the oil phase, but it is worth remembering that a high proportion of oils in home preparation can lead to an unstable emulsion.

Ideal for formulations with high % pigments (makeup) or other solids (such as clays) and sunscreen pigments. Also great for use in hair cosmetics.

Mode of application:

The MONTANOV L emulsifier is heated together with the oil components. Each phase (oil and water) is heated separately to approximately 60-75 degrees, then the water phase is poured into the oil phase, mixed with a glass rod and only then with a mini mixer. Cooling down. Essential oils and active ingredients are added.

With MONTANOV L you can get various light textures: spray, milk, fluid, lotion, light cream.

Obtaining thicker creams requires the introduction of thickening additives: butters, waxes..
The addition of co-emulsifiers in an amount of 1-2% increases the viscosity of the emulsion on MONTANOV L several times.

- body skin care products
- facial skin care products (cleansing, moisturizing, etc.)
- hair care products.

As sole emulsifier: 1-5%

In combination with other emulsifiers: from 0.5%

Starting from a concentration of 1%, creates stable emulsions.

For a thicker cream, it is recommended to increase the MONTANOV L content to 3%.

По моему опыту проценты ввода указаны тут неверно, ввод до 10% на самом деле, он не очень сильный.
Создает легкую, жидкую текстуру. Лучше комбинировать с другими эмульгаторами или загустителями. В общем, не впечатлил, несколько раз крем расслоился. Гораздо лучше и надежнее тот же Olivem или Emulpharma 1000

Очень понравился эмульгатор,использовала 5%, эмульсия средней плотности,ничего не расслоилось. При нанесении почти не разбеливается,для меня это было важно и нет ощущения стянутости.
