Chamomile officinalis flower extract (CHF)

Ingredients: water, propylene glycol, chamomile flower extract, sodium benzoate.

Appearance: yellow-brown liquid with a characteristic odor characteristic of chamomile.

Active ingredients: bisabolol, matricen, phenolcarboxylic acids (salicylic, vanillic, anise, etc.), sugars (rhamnose, xylose, arabinose, glucose), vit. C, quercetin, apigenin, rutin, tannins, carotenoids, frequent. essential oil.

Solubility: water soluble.

The main effect of chamomile extract:

- anti-inflammatory
- calming
- antimicrobial (including antifungal and antiparasitic)

- antiallergic
- epithelializing

Use in cosmetics:
- in various foaming formulations to soften the aggressive effects of surfactants; as part of anti-dandruff shampoos, to strengthen hair roots;
- in after shaving and hair removal products;

- in cosmetics for sensitive and children's skin;

- in lines for problem skin (with signs of acne, combination, youth);
- in tonics, lotions for daily care;
- in mouth rinses.

Dosage: 0.5-10%

Synergy: to enhance the soothing and regenerating effect - with allantoin, aloe vera juice, string extract; for anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effect - with extracts of calendula, sage, white willow, witch hazel.
It is advisable to supplement this extract with CO2 extract and chamomile hydrolate, chamomile oil, since they contain a different spectrum of substances.
